I am a consultant old age psychiatrist with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. My interests are the management of late life depression and psychological treatments with older people.
I am currently a PI with the NIHR-funded PATHFINDER study of problem-solving therapy in people with dementia who are depressed (CI Professor Rob Howard, UCL).
I was a member of the NICE Depression in adults (update) guideline development group.
I teach medical students at the University of Oxford and am a College Adviser and member of Green Templeton College. I am also a trained teacher of English to speakers of other languages with an interest in teaching medical and academic English and am a PLAB2 examiner.
