My main area of interest is in research related to the understanding and treatment of Bipolar Disorder. My current interest is in developing a care model for the management of bipolar disorder using the  electronic mood monitoring platform True Colours. I am interested in understanding what patients and the public want from research and am part of a group developing a PPI strategy. I am involved as an investigator and PI for a number of non commercial and commercial studies. As clinical lead for the NIHR Oxford cognitive health Clinical Research Facility, I am involved in facilitating  complex cognitive health research  working with PIs, research networks, local R&D, and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. I have an Honorary Consultant Contract with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and work in the Bipolar Disorder Research Clinic. I am on the editorial board for the British Journal of Psychiatry Advances.
