Heather Neyedli

Post Doctoral Researcher

My research investigates the use of both real-time FMRI (RTFMRI) and a mobile EEG system to provide participants neural feedback of the activation associated with the motor areas of the brain. The goal of providing neural feedback is to allow participants or patients to intentionally modulate the level of activation in these brain regions. It is hoped that providing stroke patients with neural feedback from the motor regions will lead to beneficial plastic changes in the affected motor regions and subsequent improvements in motor function, reducing the movement disability associated with stroke.

I am currently recruiting healthy control participants for neural feedback experiments. If you are interested, please contact me at heather.neyedli@ndcn.ox.ac.uk and I can provide you with more information.
