NMR and the inorganic composition of plants
Ratcliffe RG.
Multinuclear, high-resolution NMR methods can be used either directly or indirectly to detect at least 11 inorganic ions in functioning tissues. This short review examines the progress that has been made in applying these methods to plant tissues and discusses the ways in which they can contribute to the understanding of the ionic composition of such tissues at the subcellular level. © 1986.
