The 2nd Oxford Psychiatry Autumn School was held from the 8th to the 10th of September both at St Catherine's College and the University Department of Psychiatry. The event, introduced by John Geddes, Head of Department, was once again a great success. Delegates consisting of senior medical students, along with F1 and F2 doctors, enjoyed talks by some of the Department's leading Principal Investigators and had the chance to meet key figures including Stuart Bell CBE, Chief Executive of the Oxford Health Trust, Professor Chris Pugh, Director of OUCAGS and Dr Peter Sargent, Head of the Oxford School of Psychiatry.  The event also enabled the delegates to benefit from advice from young clinical academics and Principal Investigators on developing a career in academic psychiatry.
