Registration is now open for "Metabolic MRI in Acute Stroke" a 1 day focused meeting to be held at St Anne's College, Oxford on Monday 9th December 2013.

The aim of the meeting is to explore the translation of advanced metabolic imaging techniques into the complex clinical setting of hyperacute stroke. Areas that we aim to cover include spectroscopy, oxygen extraction fraction measurements, chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) imaging, and other techniques that are likely to become available in the future. An international faculty of invited speakers will present their work and views, and there will be time allowed for questions and discussion. Further details of the programme can be found on the website

Registration is free and includes a buffet lunch (we thank the Dunhill Medical Trust for grant support)
