The meeting will carry out a rigorous analysis of the work being carried out in Oxford in the field of neuroscience.

The Weatherall Lecture will  be given by Professor Irene Tracey, Nuffield Professor of Anaesthetic Science, University of Oxford. The title is 'Imaging human pain, analgesia and altered states of consciousness.' In addition, talks will be given by:

  • Zameel Cader, Director of the Oxford Headache Centre and Director of Stembancc Richard Wade-Martins.
  • Martin Turner, Senior Clinical Scientist and Honorary Consultant Neurologist in the Division of Clinical Neurology in Oxford.
  • Richard Wade-Martins, Head of the Oxford Parkinson's Disease Centre and of the Laboratory of Molecular Neurodegeneration.
