Technical lead
I’m research assistant funded by Wellcome Trust, working in Professor David Bennett’s group. I’m responsible for liaising with administration within the department, home office administration of Oxford University and other aligned research groups. I provide support in administration in Bennett’s lab, like general lab management, oversight of equipment, health and safety in the laboratory, transgenic animal colony management, grant management, and project licence management. I also provide research support in projects running in D Bennett’s lab and advice and guidance to both research students and junior post-doctoral scientists.
