Professor Dame Kay Davies, Dr Lee’s Professor of Anatomy, has been selected as the 2014 recipient of the British Neuroscience Association (BNA) award for Outstanding Contribution to British Neuroscience

The award by the BNA is given to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Neuroscience in the UK and are active researchers and teachers. It is awarded to researchers who have made a significant impact in their field of work (which can be in any area of neuroscience, neurology or mental health research) and who have demonstrated their influence to the advancement of neuroscience by their participation on high-level committees and workgroups in the UK and elsewhere.

Commenting on the award Kay said "I am delighted to receive this award. It is an acknowledgement of how fortunate I have been to work with so many talented young scientists over the years." The award will be presented at the BNA Christmas Symposium on the 15th December
