\n \n \n \nThe European Commission has recognised an alliance of Oxford University and seven other universities to join \u2018European Universities Initiative\u2019. The programme will receive 5 million euros for the next three years. The programme will focus on neurosciences and technology - to begin with.

\n \n \n \nA new Clinical Trials Unit has opened within the Department of Psychiatry - the Oxford Brain Health Clinical Trials Unit - it is the only mental health-dedicated Clinical Trials Unit in the UK. It opened in September 2019 and has replaced the former Oxford Cognitive Health and Neuroscience Clinical Trials Unit.
