Reported in this paper is a recent work on the disruption of the plant Golgi apparatus with Brefeldin A and the redistribution of endomembrane marker epitopes after drug treatment of roots and suspension culture cells. Observation shows no redistribution of Golgi products or Golgi marker epitopes into the endoplasmic reticulum as a result of BFA action.
