Over the last few weeks we have also held a number of successful public engagement activities to celebrate Brain Awareness Week and as part of the British Neuroscience Association Festival of Neuroscience at the Barbican in London.

During Brain Awareness Week (11th-17th March 2013) researchers from across Oxford Neuroscience ran various activities to help the public explore neuroscience. These events included:

Oxford Neuroscience also took part in the Street Fair at the British Neuroscience Association Festival of Neuroscience at the Barbican in London. Researchers used simple reaction time experiments to explore cognitive performance and how a range of factors in health and disease can influence reaction time.
