Rebecca Drennan

MSc BSc (Hons)

Research Assistant

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) in 2009 and went on to complete a Postgraduate Masters degree in Health Psychology at the University of Bath in 2010.  During this year, I spent my time working in the Drug and Alcohol research team and the Cardiac Rehabilitation team based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.  My experiences in these teams, evaluating anxiety and depression levels in service users, lead to an interest in self management of physical and mental health conditions, such as those with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder.

My role within the OXTEXT team involves conducting research assessments with patients and monitoring the use of the True Colours system, as well as interviewing OXTEXT participants on their experiences of the OXTEXT-6 Integrated Mood Management Programme.
