Dr Lau's research focuses broadly on understanding risk mechanisms contributing to the development of anxiety and depression in childhood and adolescence. The aim of this research is to integrate across diverse methodological approaches such as behavioural genetics, cognitive and affective neuroscience, and developmental psychopathology to enhance this understanding.
